SceneSync is live and free to use at app.scenesync.app.
Getting Started
SceneSync is a scene‑planning and reflection tool made specifically for adults engaged in consensual kink and BDSM. It helps you plan scenes, reflect on experiences, and — if you want it — get personalized feedback from the Feedback Assistant. It’s a private, secure space for organizing your thoughts and improving your experiences through structured planning and reflection.
Adults (18+) who are exploring or actively engaged in consensual kink, BDSM, or power‑exchange — at any experience level. New to kink, refining your craft, or twenty years in, the app meets you where you are.
There’s nothing to download. SceneSync runs in any modern web browser — just visit app.scenesync.app and sign in. For a full‑app feel you can install it to your home screen: on Android, open the browser menu and choose “Install SceneSync”; on iPhone/iPad, use Safari’s Share button and “Add to Home Screen.” Only ever use the official address.
App stores restrict adult content, and enforcement is unpredictable. Running as a web app means the full experience — with frank, community‑appropriate language — stays available without censorship, and updates reach you immediately.
Sign up with an email and a strong password, or use “Sign in with Google.” Use a unique password (a password manager helps). Your data is encrypted and stored securely on Google Firebase. You control all privacy settings from your account.
Onboarding introduces SceneSync’s values and walks you through four consent checkpoints in plain language: General Terms, the Feedback Assistant Agreement, the Reflection Tools Agreement, and the Data Privacy Agreement.
Scene Plans are for before a scene — roles, scene type and tone, activities, boundaries and hard limits, consent style, safewords and check‑ins, health/safety, and aftercare. Reflections are for after — what happened, what went well, challenges or triggers, what to try next time, mood tracking, and an optional 1–10 rating. Both are private to you.
Reusable context so you don’t retype yourself every scene. Your profile captures pronouns, kink identity, experience level, hard boundaries, accessibility needs, default safewords, and “always remember” notes. Partner profiles keep a separate private record per partner (the dynamic, experience, common play types, intensity/pacing, safewords, consent style, safety procedures, concerns, boundaries, and areas needing extra care). Everything is optional. When you attach your profile and a saved partner to a plan or reflection, that context can travel with your Feedback Assistant request.
It reads your scene plan or reflection — plus any profile context you include — and offers kink‑aware, consent‑forward suggestions: safety considerations you may have missed, boundary and communication refinements, aftercare ideas, and reflection prompts. It understands RACK principles and community norms. It’s optional; the app works fully without it.
Yes — two dials on each scene plan’s details page. Risk Tolerance sets how much the Assistant emphasizes caution: Coach me for extra guidance and safety reminders (great when you’re newer to an activity or planning higher‑risk play), Standard by default, or Essentials to trim it to the key points when you’d rather it trust your judgment — and you can fine‑tune it per activity. Review Type sets how deep it goes: Focused highlights the most important recommendations, while Full gives a deeper read with more context. Set a Review Type default in Account settings, or override either dial per plan. Neither changes the token cost — only the feel of your feedback.
When the Feedback Assistant reviews a scene plan or reflection, that feedback is locked to that version. If you edit the document afterward, SceneSync automatically saves a new version and keeps the old one — with its feedback — in Version History. You can view or restore any earlier version any time, so you can revise freely without losing feedback you paid tokens for.
Scene plans and reflections are private to your account. There’s a copy‑all function so you can easily copy any part to share through your own preferred channels. Use SceneSync to organize your thinking, then negotiate directly with your partner(s).
Tokens power the Feedback Assistant. A full review costs 2 tokens; an update review of a revised document costs 1 token (the assistant remembers its earlier feedback and acknowledges your changes). You get free tokens when you sign up, and can add more with token packs or a monthly subscription. Pack tokens never expire; subscription tokens roll over while your subscription is active but can lapse after cancellation. Subscription tokens are spent first, so your packs keep their value. Your balance shows at the top of the app.
New accounts start with 12 free tokens — enough to try full and update reviews and see how the Feedback Assistant works.
SceneSync is free to start, and the Feedback Assistant is optional. If you want more feedback, you can buy one‑time token packs (Taste, Warm‑up, Build‑up, and Crescendo) or subscribe monthly (Curious, Passionate, or Obsessed, each including a monthly token allotment). Current prices are shown in the app on the purchase screens.
Token packs are non‑refundable (tokens never expire). Subscriptions can be cancelled any time; access continues to the end of the billing period, with no pro‑rated refunds. For billing questions, email support@scenesync.app.
In the app: Menu → Manage Subscription → Cancel. Access continues until the end of your current period; unused subscription tokens expire 7 days after the period ends, while pack and signup tokens remain. You can resubscribe any time without losing your data.
Yes. Your scene plans and reflections are private to your account, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on Google Firebase (Google Cloud). Firebase Security Rules and App Check block unauthorized access. SceneSync includes no advertising or tracking SDKs, and never sells your data or uses your content for advertising.
Only the text you submit for feedback — plus any profile context you opt in to — is sent, server‑side, to OpenAI’s API. Your email, display name, user ID, and device identifiers are not attached. Per OpenAI’s API policy, this data isn’t used to train its models, and SceneSync doesn’t opt into any data‑sharing that would allow it. Your scene content is never sold or shared for advertising.
Yes. In the app: Menu → Privacy Settings → Export My Data. Your export includes your profile, scene plans and reflections (with their feedback), drafts, consent records, and token history.
In the app: Menu → Privacy Settings → Delete My Account, then confirm. This permanently removes your account and content (export first if you want to keep anything). Most data is deleted within about 30 days; encrypted system backups may persist for a limited retention window per Google Cloud’s standard policies. Token balances are forfeited. This can’t be undone.
Mostly, yes. An email is required for sign‑in and password recovery, but a real name is not — you can use a pseudonym. If identity separation matters to you, use an email that doesn’t reveal who you are, and avoid putting identifying details in your plans.
No. It’s a planning and reflection tool, not a substitute for in‑person negotiation, ongoing consent conversations, real‑time check‑ins, or professional support. Think of it as a place to organize your thoughts — then always negotiate directly with your partner(s).
No. It’s educational and informational only — not medical, legal, therapeutic, or crisis advice, and not a substitute for your own judgment. The AI can be wrong or miss things; never rely on it as your safety check. Consult qualified professionals for medical, mental‑health, legal, or safety concerns.
SceneSync is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away. In the US: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call/text 988); Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741); National Domestic Violence Hotline 1‑800‑799‑7233; RAINN 1‑800‑656‑4673. The app’s Crisis Resources page links these and kink‑aware professional directories (e.g. NCSF’s Kink‑Aware Professionals).
Yes — SceneSync is for adults 18 and older only.
During onboarding you’ll complete four consent checkpoints (General Terms, Feedback Assistant Agreement, Reflection Tools Agreement, Data Privacy Agreement), each explained in plain language. Our full Terms, Privacy Policy, Liability Waiver, and AI Agreement are available in the app and govern your use.
SceneSync is an independent project built by a solo developer who’s part of the kink community. (Despite the “we/us” language, it’s really just one person.) It’s supported by optional subscriptions and token‑pack purchases, plus tips at ko-fi.com/scenesync. We will never sell your data, run ads, or paywall core safety features.
