Thoughtful BDSM Scene Planning and Reflection

SceneSync helps you plan more fulfilling kink scenes with thoughtful guidance, thought-provoking reflection, and consent-focused feedback.

What it is

SceneSync is a scene‑planning and reflection app for kinky people, built by a solo developer who’s part of this community. It helps you:

  • Plan scenes — negotiate roles, limits, safety, consent, and aftercare with structure that flexes to your style.
  • Reflect afterward — privately, with prompts that go beyond “rate your scene 1–10.”
  • Build an archive — track how your needs, dynamics, and play evolve over time, with full version history.

Move fast or slow. Solo or partnered. Anonymous or named. New to kink or twenty years in.

Profiles (yours and your partners’)

Reusable context, so you don’t retype the same things every scene.

Your profile holds what’s true across all your play — pronouns, kink identity, experience level, hard boundaries, accessibility needs, default safewords, and “always remember” notes. It stays private, and it’s only ever shared with the Feedback Assistant if you switch that on.

Partner profiles let you keep a separate, private record for each person you play with: pronouns, the dynamic and how long you’ve played, experience level, common play types, usual intensity and pacing, relationship rules, established safewords, default consent style, safety procedures, known concerns, hard boundaries, and areas needing extra care.

Profiles are optional — fill in as much or as little as you like, and leave anything blank. They’re useful on their own as reference, and they’re the connective tissue for the Feedback Assistant: when you attach your profile and a saved partner to a plan or reflection, that context travels with it so the feedback actually reflects who you are and who you’re playing with.

The Feedback Assistant (optional)

This is what makes SceneSync different. The Feedback Assistant reads your scene plan or reflection — plus any profile context you choose to include — and gives you personalized, kink‑aware, consent‑forward suggestions: patterns you might’ve missed, questions worth asking, ideas to try next. The more detail you give it, the more useful it gets. New to kink? It points you toward the basics. Experienced? It meets you where you are.

It is fully optional — the app works without ever using it. When you do use it:

  • Only the text of your scene plan or reflection, and any profile context you opt in to, is sent — server‑side, through a secure connection — to OpenAI’s GPT models.
  • Your account identity (email, name, user ID) is never attached to those requests.
  • Per OpenAI’s API policy, content sent through the API is not used to train its models. Your content is never sold or shared for advertising.

Who it’s for

Beginners who want a guided way in. Organizers who love a checklist. Romantics who treat scenes as ritual. Experimentalists who remix every dynamic. Quiet introspectors who need a private space to process. Switches, solo players, polyamorous webs, and everyone in between. If you’ve ever wished a planning tool actually understood what kink is — this one was built for you.

The app is live! Beta is closed. SceneSync is now open to everyone. There’s nothing to download — it runs right in your browser and installs to your home screen if you want it to.

Why it's a web app (not in the app stores)

Google Play and Apple’s App Store restrict sexually explicit content, and enforcement is unpredictable. Rather than water the app down, SceneSync runs as a Progressive Web App — you use it right in your browser at app.scenesync.app, and you can install it to your home screen for a full‑app feel:

  • Android / Chrome: open the menu and choose Install SceneSync (or “Add to Home screen”).
  • iPhone / iPad: in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
  • Desktop: use it in any modern browser; install from the address‑bar install icon if you like.

Updates arrive automatically — no store reviews, no manual installs, no cross‑app ad tracking. SceneSync includes no third‑party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Your privacy

  • Your scene plans and reflections are private to your account, encrypted in transit and at rest on Google Firebase (Google Cloud).
  • No ads. No data sales. No third‑party ad or tracking SDKs.
  • You can export your data and permanently delete your account yourself, any time, from Privacy Settings in the app.
  • You can use SceneSync under a pseudonym — an email is required for sign‑in, but a real name is not.

Why I built it

We tell people in this community to “just communicate,” but rarely give them tools to do it well. SceneSync is my attempt to fix that. It’s not a hookup app. It’s not a checklist. It’s a companion for the work you’re already doing — the negotiation, the reflection, the slow process of figuring out what you actually want and need. I’m a kinkster and a solo developer who believes we deserve better tools than what’s out there — including being deliberate about how AI gets used: optional, privacy‑focused, never extractive.

What SceneSync isn’t

A tool, not a guarantee. SceneSync does not:

  • Replace in‑person communication, negotiation, or skill‑building
  • Monitor or evaluate your safety practices
  • Offer legal, medical, psychological, or crisis guidance
  • Guarantee emotional readiness or safe outcomes

You bring the wisdom. The app supports the work.
